Shopping and running errands
Housekeeping assistants can also assist you outside your home. Whether you need someone to do your weekly shop, collect your prescription or run an errand, our wonderful assistants will always be happy to assist you however you need.
Preparing meals and snacks
Helping Hands assistants are trained to prepare delicious meals that suit your personal tastes and dietary requirements. They’ll even do the washing up afterwards!
Pet care
Looking after a much-loved pet can become increasingly difficult as you lose mobility. Our pet-friendly housekeeping assistants can ensure your pet receives all the attention it needs, from feeding and watering them to talking them on walks and emptying litter trays.
Community Support Care.
Community Support Care is lower-level support, such as popping in to see someone for a cup of tea and a chat, taking them shopping in the community, or helping them walk their dog. It is more of a block of time set aside to support your needs within the community. It works well as it can vary from day to day or week to week, depending upon you. We could go to an art exhibition, the knitting club, or the library. It is about you—not the time frame.
Nutrition and Hydration Visits:
Assisting with meal preparation and ensuring the individual stays hydrated and eats a balanced diet.
Cognitive Stimulation Visits:
Our team visits to engage you in activities that stimulate your mind and help maintain cognitive function, such as puzzles, memory games, and conversation.
Care Assistant Support:
Assistance with daily activities such as assisting you when bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Respite for Caregiver Visits:
We offer temporary relief for family caregivers, allowing them to take a break while knowing their loved one is in good hands.
Emotional Support Visits:
We provide you with companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation and anxiety.
Granny & Gramp's Sitting:
Do you have a wedding to attend? Do you need to attend a hospital appointment? Do you want to go shopping with your daughter or out for a meal with friends?
We offer Gran & Gramp's sits to allow you time to spend with friends and family, knowing your loved one was relief for family caregivers, allowing them to take a break while knowing their loved one is in good hands.
Safety Monitoring Visits:
We pop into your loved one, ensuring the individual's safety within their home environment, including fall prevention and wandering management.
